Evan Byron, a Cleveland lawyer, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 25, 1980, and grew up in Carmel, Indiana. He pursued higher education at Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Spanish in 2002. Evan made the National Dean’s List during his undergraduate studies and participated in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity’s Finance Committee.
Evan’s academic journey continued at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2006. At Case Western, he was a member of the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team and Vice President of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Evan was also included in the Dean’s List.
After graduating from law school, Evan began his professional career in Cleveland, Ohio. His first legal role was with Kaufman, Drozdowski & Grendell, LLC, where he became a partner in 2017. Throughout his time at the firm, Evan successfully handled various legal matters, such as business disputes, employment law, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, probate, and certain personal injury cases. He also gained expertise in transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate deals, and business general counsel services.
Before his time at Kaufman, Drozdowski & Grendell, Evan worked as Of Counsel for Lieberman, Dvorin & Dowd, LLC, where he expanded his skillset in business and commercial litigation. He focused on trial work, residential and commercial real estate, creditors’ rights, receiverships, and banking-related matters.
